It takes some practice, but before you know it, you will be an expert in navigating campus!

Our founders, philanthropist Grace Hoadley Dodge and philosopher Nicholas Murray Butler, had a shared vision to create a new kind of education for teachers of disadvantaged NYC children—one that combined a humanitarian concern to help others with a scientific approach to human development.

Since our very beginning, our central mission has been to empower future leaders to tackle social justice issues in our community!

This is the very first thing you should know about TC.
